No Pasta No Pasta No pasta!
Get your carb fix with this quick and easy recipe.
Medium spaghetti squash
Lean ground meat
Tomato sauce of choice (again we use Trader Joe’s)
Low fat cheeses of your choice ( we like ricotta, cheddar, mozzarella, and cottage cheese)
First wash your squash, poke holes around.
Lay in microwavable dish and cook for 8-10 min depending on size. You want to be able to poke knife easily through squash.
Next brown your ground meat, drain, add tomato sauce to your liking.
Now, cut squash open lengthwise. Spoon out the seeded area in center.
Brush olive oil along inside of squash and fluff sides with a fork.
Now layer meat mixture and cheeses… Layer away.
Last layer should be mozzarella / cheddar.
Put halves in oven a cook until cheese melts.
Allow to cool for a bit and enjoy your pasta free Lasagna fix!!
