“Physically Ready for Everyday Performance”
Youth Summer Fitness Camp (13-19)
This program builds upon what is learned in the younger athlete’s program. Each participant goes through our FMS screening to determine their readiness for weight training & establish a starting point with each athlete. Because movement patterns are cemented at this age(either properly or improperly), we focus on moving correctly and efficiently. This approach makes greatly improves the foundation on which athletic performance is built. Whether your child participates in sports or not, this program will improve every aspect of their fitness life. Groups are also limited to 12-15 for quality purposes.
“The Program at a Glance”
The first three days are 90 minutes in length and each begins with user specific & general warmups. We then move onto the gym floor for that day’s work session(45′-60′) and finish outside for some athletic drills. Fridays are 60 minutes and focus strictly on endurance and athleticism.

PREP Summer Slim Down
56 days, 32 workouts, 12 people, 1 goal…Get into the best shape possible! We’re taking all of our tools and techniques and combining them with a fantastic meal plan built specifically for the demands of our training. Add the accountability & camaraderie of a small group to make this one fantastic & effective fat loss program. Over the course of this 8 week program you will get stronger, you will get healthier and you will shed a ton of body fat.
As we do with all clients, we start with the FMS. This helps to determine your readiness for exercise and provides us with a blueprint for program design. Each client will have a “movement prep”protocol that is based on the findings of the screen. It’s applied at the beginning of each work session and outside the gym as “homework”. Then, there’s the workout sessions. Each session is 45-50 minutes of intense training that is challenging, but also fit to accommodate a variety of fitness levels. So, despite being a “group”program, we individualize it based on your current capabilities. By the end of the program you will not only look and feel different, but you will also perform differently. You’ll be PREPed!!!

Are you intimidated by the heavy metal equipment coating the floors of gyms? How about the numerous sweating buffed bodies flexing and parading their hard bodies while you simply try to figure out how to turn on a treadmill?
These circumstances do not have to keep you from your desire to get in shape! Over the years gym owners and members alike have taken note of the reasons many people stay away from gyms…intimidation of equipment, intimidation of other members and lack of education. While personal trainers were available for gym members and for at-home training, many people thought that these options were merely services for the “rich and famous.”
Gym owners and personal trainers began to recognize that not just the elite could benefit from personal services. In an attempt to create facilities that cater to the “everyday people,” private fitness training facilities emerged.
So how are private fitness training facilities different from the “gym?” Well, I’m glad you’ve asked!
Private and semi-private fitness training facilities offer an abundance of resources to help educate members on the importance of proper fitness techniques. Personal trainers work with each individual member on a one-on-one basis or small group setting. This allows the trainer to learn about each member’s needs, goals and then allows them to develop a plan which will help the member achieve the results they desire. Jordan Aucoin, owner of Prep Fitness in Prairieville, explains that fitness training facilities produce a higher successful rate than open gyms. This is done because trainers evaluate each member’s goals, fitness level, and health conditions then help educate and guide members with a “blueprint to the most beneficial and efficient path to improved performance.” Aucoin says, “At our facility you get results. This is because our programs are based on the individual’s fitness level and goals. We don’t take the ‘cookie cutter’ approach that you get when you join a gym; rather we apply the ‘Quality before Quantity’ approach.”
Members work in a supervised environment with a certified personal trainer guiding them towards a healthier lifestyle. It’s all about educating the client and teaching them the appropriate fitness techniques which will help them sustain a successful fitness program, Aucoin explains further. “There’s no reason to feel intimidated by the heavy metal equipment or the crowds of members. Now people can come to a facility that caters to the individual’s needs through private and semi-private training while receiving guidance and support every step of the way. We take the fear out of ‘improving physical performance!’ ”
Aucoin’s facility, Prep Fitness, is located at 36546 Mission Street in Prairieville. Conveniently located off of Hwy. 73, this facility provides individuals with private one-on-one training, semi-private training, small group classes, massage therapy and nutritional support. Prep Fitness also provides strength and endurance training for athletes and youth summer training camps.
